Issues for Council meeting

The closed-door meeting of the councilors is expected to start at 3pm and it will be presided over by the Chairperson Begum Khaleda Zia.

Major decisions regarding the party and politics will be made in this session.

Councilors are likely to raise many issues in the session. 

A proposal on condolence on the death of national and international persons will be raised at the beginning of the session. 

The party election commission will present its report before the councilors; an organizational report prepared by the General Secretary will follow it. 

The meeting then will evaluate the current political, social and economic situation of the country.

Then the councilors will decide on proposed amendments to the party constitution and elect the National Standing Committee, National Executive Committee, etc. A declaration of the party council will also be made at the conclusion.
