[The Sixth Council Review 4] BNP chairperson and senior vice-chairman unanimously approved

BNP Councilors on Saturday, March 19, approved Khaleda Zia and her elder son Tarique Rahman as chairperson and senior vice-chairman of the party respectively at the party’s sixth national council in Dhaka.
Earlier the two top leaders were elected unopposed.

During the council, BNP standing committee member and chief election commissioner Jamir Uddin Sircar placed the poll results before around 3,000 councilors of the party during the council session.

The councilor later endorsed both Begum Zia and Tarique Rahman unanimously.
