Khaleda Zia to inaugurate the Council

The day-long sixth National Council will be inaugurated by BNP Chairperson and three-time prime minister Begum Khaleda Zia at 10am on Saturday, March 19 at the Institution of Engineers, Bangladesh in Dhaka.

She will start for the council venue at 9.20am from her Gulshan residence, according to the party’s spokesman.

The Chairperson will hoist the national and party flags. The president and general secretary of each district unit committee will also hoist the national and party flags separately. At that time, the national and party anthem will also be played.   

  

The Chairperson will deliver her introductory remarks before the delegates and guests. A recorded video speech of Senior Vice Chairman Tarique Rahman will be also played following the Chairperson’s speech.
