BNP policymakers, headed by Chairperson Khaleda Zia,
have approved several proposals to amend the party’s constitution.
The party’s National Standing Committee cleared the
proposals in a meeting presided over by Khaleda Thursday evening.
Acting Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir
told reporters the party would reveal the amendments once they got the final
clearance at the party’s sixth National Council scheduled for Saturday.
